MODEL GOVERNANCE SUMMER SCHOOL

Model Governance Foundation is pleased to announce Model Governance Summer School from 1st – 10th June, 2016.

The summer school is an intensive full-time programme, and consist of at least 60 contact hours, generally taking the form of 30 hours of interactive lectures, 10 hours of group discussions and 20 hours of student-led teamwork sessions facilitated by the tutors.

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
There will be lectures, presentations and discourses on all 5 themes during the programme. Extensive Study Material will be provided to all the participants on all 5 themes at the commencement of the programme.

The participants will be divided into 5 Research Groups. They will be allotted Research Topics according to the themes of the programme and their preferences. Research Supervisors will guide them during the school and help them in conducting the Research on the topics allotted. The Participants will be required to submit Research Report at the end of the Programme.

There will be 4 Objective as well as Subjective Assessment Tests during the School of 100 Marks each and 1 hour duration. Research Report will also carry 100 Marks. The Candidates will be evaluated out of 500 Marks and their marks and grades will be mentioned on the Certificate.

Day 1 – Introduction, Group Discussion, Allotment of Research Groups, Research Topics and Research Supervisors.

Day 3 – Lectures, Discourses and Participant Presentations on Law and Public Policy
Day 4 – Activities, Documentaries on Law and Public Policy, Assessment Test 02
Day 5 – Research Methodology Workshop and Assessment Test 03
Day 6 – Lectures, Discourses and Participant Presentations on Leadership
Day 7 – Lectures, Discourses and Participant Presentations on Entrepreneurship
Day 8 – Submission of Research Reports (Drafts), Assessment Test 04
Day 9 – Workshop on Self-Management and Personality Development
Day 10 – Final Submission of Research Report, Graduation Ceremony and Lucknow Study Tour

DURATION
The summer school will be for 10 days i.e. 1st June, 2016 to 10th June, 2016.

ELIGIBILITY
The summer school is open to all Indian Students pursuing Undergraduate or Postgraduate courses in the UGC recognized University or College.

VENUE
The summer school will be held at our office in Lucknow.

ACCOMMODATION
Participants will be required to arrange for their own accommodation. Outstation participants will be provided assistance in finding a suitable accommodation according to their budget.

WORKING HOURS
1000 Hours to 1700 Hours (IST)

SELECTION CRITERIA
Selection will be done on basis of applicant’s CV/Resume. 10 participants will be selected for the Summer School.
